Salon Yeager, a Knoxville TN hair salon, was founded in 2015 by Jenn and Chris Yeager. After over a decade in the salon industry, the two have fulfilled their dream of opening their own hair salon together in Knoxville.
There are no limits to what our stylists can do with your hair, including balayage, color/highlights, Ouidad for curly hair, and even formal hair styling. Trends are always coming and going, and our goal at Salon Yeager is to meet your specific needs at any given moment.

Jenn began her career as a stylist in 2004. The art of hair design and love for making people feel more beautiful and confident runs through her veins as she is the granddaughter of not one, but two hairstylists! She has always heavily pursued continuing education and has completed advanced courses all over the world from Washington DC, to Dallas, to New York City and even Berlin, Germany. One of her favorites is the Sassoon Academy in Chicago having completed 3 courses there and counting! Jenn & her husband Chris opened Salon Yeager in January 2015 and have found the most joy (besides raising 3 boys) in helping those that join the Salon Yeager family grow their careers and live the life of their dreams. In addition to working behind the chair as a stylist, Jenn has developed an in-house education program to help advance the skills of all of her fellow stylists. She also keeps up with the salon’s social media and marketing and does career coaching with her team members. She was recently invited to become an educator with her preferred brand, L’Oreal Professionnel, and is excited to help elevate the industry as she teaches all over the nation.
Dawn is incredibly passionate about her career and using the platform she has to lift other women up on a daily basis. The words she lives by are “I am called to love, so I am here to love…everyone”. If there is an opportunity for advanced education you can be guaranteed that Dawn Kron will be in attendance! She has traveled to the Toni & Guy Academy in NYC and to the Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco for advanced cutting courses, and to Vancouver for cut and color training. She’s attended the Behind the Chair Show in both San Antonio and Austin, TX and has received her Ouidad certification for curly hair in NYC. She is also certified to do Extensions and Brazilian Blowout treatments. On a more personal note, Dawn’s goals are to be the best wife, mother, and woman of God that she can be!
Kelsey, a Knoxville native, says her favorite thing about being a stylist is having the opportunity to make people feel good about themselves. She has received extensive training with Goldwell, KMS California, TIGI, Global Keratin, Amika, Ouidad and L’Oreal Professional color and product lines. She has advanced her cut and color skills by taking courses at the KMS Academies in NYC and Atlanta and the Sassoon Academy in Chicago. Kelsey has also been certified in extension application and Brazilian Blowout treatments. Her friendly personality and drive to be the best sets guests at ease in her chair and keeps them coming back.
Hannah began her career as a stylist in 2006. She is one of the select few Ouidad specialists in Tennessee, which allows her to specialize in curly hair. She is also an extension specialist certified with Aqua for Tape-Ins and Hand Tied Wefts. Hannah has attended the Toni & Guy Academy in Santa Monica, CA, and the L’Oreal Makeover class in NYC. She has studied and worked with Graham Webb, Framesi, KMS California, Goldwell, Amika, Ouidad, & L’Oreal Professional color and product lines. She worked with a team of stylists to create the looks for the 2012 Knoxville Fashion Week runway events. Hannah listens to her clients while bringing out the best in their hair.
Madison started her career in the hair industry in 2010. She is known for her creativity and attention to detail. She completed an advanced training course at the Goldwell Academy in Santa Monica, CA, as well as numerous courses in L’Oreal Professionnel Color, KMS cutting, and Global Keratin Taming System. In 2015, Madison attended the Ouidad Academy in NYC where she was certified as a curly hair specialist. Most recently, she has taken classes in blonding techniques, balayage, makeup application, and modern cuts. You are guaranteed a smile when you sit in Madison’s chair. Madison can work magic with your curly hair!
Just a small town (Sweetwater, TN) girl, making a big mark in this world! Courtney has a smile that is contagious and she loves to make people laugh and enjoy life. Her goals are to be the best she can and work hard to make her dreams come true. She wants to be someone who people want to look up to and come to for advice or help. Courtney has received advance training in the Brazilian Blowout Taming Treatments, Extensions, and Makeup Artistry. One of the highlights of her career is being a finalist for L’Oreal Professionnel’s Color & Style Trophy and doing the makeup for her model to walk the runway in NYC! Victoria’s area of expertise is highlights and blonding. She has also completed certifications in Brazilian Blowout treatments, vivid color application, and tape-in extensions. As a stylist, she wants to make sure to give each guest an experience that leaves them feeling confident and beautiful. She wants to make sure she is always learning new things so she can provide her guests with the latest and greatest techniques and styles. In 2020 Victoria was on a team that was one of 5 semi-finalists in their category in the entire nation for L’Oreal Professionnel’s Color & Style Trophy competition! A fun fact about Victoria is she is obsessed with cows and hopes to own land one day where she can raise them along with a family and live life to the fullest!
Knoxville native, Rae Martin, is our southern sweetheart! Her goal as a stylist is to make every guest feel loved and beautiful and to have fun doing it. Since graduating cosmetology school Rae has continued to stay on top of the trends by taking advanced courses in cutting and color techniques. Her most recent focus has been perfecting her balayages and she enjoys the variety of looks she’s able to create. She has one big Great Dane fur baby! Rae lives by the motto, “Live life to the fullest and remember to laugh and enjoy the little things”.
Kayla has been a stylist for over 6 years now, spending the first 5 of those in her hometown just outside of Chicago, IL. After moving to TN in 2020 with her husband, Andrew, she joined the Salon Yeager family. She wants you to know that whether you are consistent or spontaneous with your hair, her goal is to build trust and a relationship to create a forever client! Kayla is part of Amika’s Stylist League so she gets to try new products before they launch and gives input on new and existing products. She also gets to test products in the development stage.
Rose was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. With her love of the outdoors and gardening she is thoroughly enjoying living in and exploring Tennessee with her husband and their fur babies. As a stylist, she aims to provide tailored services for each and every one of her guests using her talents, skills, and education while making them feel at home in her chair. Rose has earned advanced certifications in Tape-in and Hand Tied Weft extensions, and Brazilian Blowout Taming Treatments and is also a Makeup Designory certified makeup artist. Before becoming a cosmetologist Rose earned degrees in both art and education!
Are you ready for this fun fact? Brett was in an all-female acapella group and was the beat boxer so better believe you’re going to have a good time in this Yeagerbabe’s chair! A Knoxville native, and graduate of Tennessee School of Beauty, Brett loves connecting with those in her community and making them feel their very best. She wants you to know that her chair is always a safe space full of light and love and everyone is welcome. As she grows her career, Brett hopes to be able to educate and mentor other stylists.
Deanna credits her passion for the beauty industry to 2 main inspirations. The first is her niece who makes her want to be a better person. She enjoys doing her niece’s hair and having fun with her. The second is her experience modeling over the past 10 years watching the stylists and makeup artists create looks for the runway. Deanna loves being able to change someone’s day by relating to them and by making them feel better about themselves. Color is her favorite thing to do when it comes to hair. Some cool facts about Deanna are that she’s left handed & she’s adopted!
If “high aspirations” were a person, it would be Nicole! In her off-time it’s not uncommon to find her still at the salon observing, practicing, and expanding her skills which makes total sense with her personal mantra being “Get uncomfortable. If you’re comfortable in what you’re doing you’re not growing and learning”. Nicole is a certified makeup artist with the Makeup Designory Academy and also specializes in Hand Tied Weft Extensions. A little fun fact about her is she is obsessed with True Crime and took a criminal justice class in high school and wanted to be a forensic anthropologist! She also has 2 dogs who are her whole life, loves being outside and adventurous, and is a huge advocate for mental health.
Jadyn grew up surrounded by the beauty industry as the child of a hair stylist! Creativity and imagination run through her veins and she describes herself as silly, goofy, and “her own person who doesn’t follow the norm”. Her personal mission statement is to make a difference in someone’s life today. Jadyn is super easy going and loves meeting new people and making others smile.
Eliana lives by the belief that the smallest things like a smile or compliment can make someone’s day better. Just spend a little time in her chair and you will be the beneficiary of her joyful outlook and some great conversation. But she also wants you to know that if you are looking for a nice, quiet, relaxing visit she is more than happy to accommodate you in that way too. A little fun fact about Eliana is that she loves looking at the sky and has a whole album on her phone dedicated to photos of it!
Neely is a cosmetology student at Tennessee School of Beauty and is heavily focused on advancing her hair cutting and coloring skills. She believes that the harder you work, the more successful you’ll be and your efforts will be rewarded. She values treating everyone with kindness and respect and wants people to feel comfortable and happy. Upon graduation, Neely wants to have a successful career as a stylist and eventually own her own salon! Neely is a twin and says her and her sister couldn’t be more opposite. While she was getting her lashes done, her sister was on a range at marine boot camp learning to fire a rifle!
Samantha takes care of salon guests at our front desk during the day and is a cosmetology student at the Aveda Institute in the evenings. She will graduate and become a licensed cosmetologist in the Spring of 2022. She loves the opportunity that the beauty industry provides to be creative and the self-expression that can be displayed through hair and makeup.
Samantha got married in July 2021 and her and her husband have a cocker spaniel named Rosie.
Paige joined the Salon Yeager family in the summer of 2021 after moving to the area with her husband who is a Knoxville native. Things worked out well for him with Paige quickly becoming a Vol fan since her favorite color is orange! Prior to moving she lived in a suburb of Atlanta and worked as a salon manager for about 6 years there. Paige comes from a large family and family is so very important to her. She also is an adoring cat momma to 3 babies, Nuggie, “B”, and “G”. Paige loves the beauty industry because it is always changing and she says there is always something to learn. She delights in watching people grow.
Chris Yeager was born and raised in Salt Lake City. After marrying Jenn, he moved across the country to TN where he graduated from UT with a degree in Psychology. He attended a course in 2009 on salon ownership at the Summit Salon Academy in Tampa, and continued to study the field extensively. In 2011 he joined the salon industry as a manager and career coach. He received further training in 2013 when he attended The Experience by Millennium in Miami. He enjoys serving guests and making people feel comfortable in the salon.
